About

Welcome to the site. My name is Krister and I am an artist, graphic designer and model flyer. I have been doing model airplanes since I was 10 years old. It was my dad who started it all when we were on a vacation in Stockholm. There we visited Roffe’s model airplane shop and bought a kit, engine and radio. Dad put everything together and then we started flying. That airplane probably flew well, but not we. It was only when we joined the Jupiter model airplane club and got help from experienced pilots that we learned to fly for real.

I’ve always enjoyed taking on new challenges and when I first saw 3d-labprint’s airplane, I already had a 3d printer and thought it couldn’t be that hard to design my own airplane. Well it was, but the learning curve was quite steep. I drew a couple of different airplanes in Fusion 360 and experimented with getting it to look good in print. Incredibly time consuming.

So after a couple of attempts to get a working model, I felt like I had cracked the code on how to do it. I drew one of my absolute favorites, Ryan STM. And after that the SAAB J29 Tunnan.
