J29 Tunnan build

The design process of version 1 is finished. I’ve been waiting a while for the test flight due to hard wind. And this Sunday the weather was perfect. But just as I was ready to take off a paramotor flyer flying nearby came in to a spin and crashed 300 meters from the model flying field. We ran to the crash site and tried to save the pilot but his injuries was too much. It was a very sad day and I really feel with the young man’s parents.

So I’m still waiting for the maiden flight. I’m not really too keen to get back to the field yet.
Before this tragic accident I got to talk to a Tunnan expert that gave me some new ideas and tips for changes. The CG was too far back according to him so I changed some parts in the aft and made them lighter. I also moved the elevator servo to the hatch over the wing. Now I will print another one and try to get i into the air as soon as possible.
